Otis Togbah Tarwoe is a dynamic international speaker, author, project and business management consultant, policy and development analyst, and certified leadership and personal development coach from Liberia. For over 7 years, Otis has been known as a relentless icon in the quest for good leadership in public and corporate governance in Liberia. His vast experience in leadership coaching, professional public speaking, mentoring, and advocacy across Africa has distinguished him as a trusted name in emerging leadership excellence.
He is the founder and president of the Visionary School of Leadership and Development, CEO at Tarwoe Global Consulting LLC, and the International Coordinator for Africa Initiative, Oaks of Central P.A. Since its inception, Otis Togbah Tarwoe has piloted the Visionary School of Leadership and Development to become one of Liberia’s foremost leadership capital development institutions, including the establishment of Tarwoe Global Consulting in Kigali, Rwanda.
Otis Togbah Tarwoe is a resource person who utilizes effective coaching models to help individuals and organizations reengineer their paradigms and create optimal cultures for success. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Integrated Sustainable Rural Development with an emphasis in Environment Policy from the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Public Policy and Management.
He is also a distinguished author of six transformational books: “Unique Potential of a Pragmatic Leader,” “The Undefeated You,” “The Speaker in You,” “Do It Scared,” “The Right Mindset Wins,” and “The Escape Route from Poverty,” which focus on leadership, business, professional speaking, and executing one’s God-given purpose.
As a certified international speaker, Otis has spoken in more than 12 countries around the world, including Rwanda, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Ethiopia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Tanzania, among others. He is a graduate of the Young Political Leadership School of Africa, Semester Six, and a 2021 international speaker at the YOU Square Global Leadership Summit in Kigali.
He is an international ambassador at the Africa Project Against Suicide and a former Theirworld Global Youth Ambassador based in the United Kingdom. Born with an innate drive and passion for leadership and entrepreneurship in Africa, Otis won the J.P.I. International Business Leadership Award from Canada and has established himself as a proficient motivator for many young people around the world.
