VSOLAD Holds Strategic Engagement with Senior Government Officials to Advance Leadership and Youth Development in Liberia
Monrovia, Liberia: The Visionary School of Leadership and Development (VSOLAD) has held a strategic engagement with senior government officials as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships and advance leadership development, youth empowerment, professional education, and national capacity building in Liberia.
The engagement brought together Hon. Nyekeh Y. Forkpa, Deputy Minister of Education, and Atty. Laura Golakeh, Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, with Otis Togbah Tarwoe, Founder and President of the Visionary School of Leadership and Development.
The strategic meeting provided an opportunity to discuss areas of mutual interest and explore opportunities for collaboration aimed at expanding access to quality professional education, leadership development, mentorship, youth empowerment, and innovative capacity-building initiatives.
During the engagement, VSOLAD highlighted its commitment to developing a new generation of ethical, visionary, and purpose-driven leaders equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to contribute meaningfully to Liberia’s development. As a growing leadership and professional development institution, VSOLAD continues to pursue strategic partnerships with government institutions, development organizations, professionals, and other stakeholders to create greater opportunities for young people and emerging professionals.
The institution is also preparing to unveil a number of transformative initiatives designed to strengthen professional development, career advancement, leadership capacity, and youth participation in national development.
The engagement with the two Deputy Ministers underscores the importance of collaboration between educational institutions, government, and other stakeholders in addressing the leadership and capacity-building needs of Liberia’s young population.
